Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mark Bloniarz. I am a Certified Financial Planner™ professional; and sole owner of Collective Financial Partners, LLC in Star City, West Virginia.

I first became licensed for insurance and securities products in 1988. Never one to follow the established path, I contracted with The A.L. Williams Company and Primerica Financial Services. At this time, their concept of “Buy Term Life Insurance and Invest the Difference” was met with less than enthusiasm from the established insurance companies. Today, this concept is widely accepted as a preferred strategy by many Attorneys, CPAs, and financial advocacy groups.

In 1990, I started with Prudential Preferred Financial Services. This new company was a mesh between Prudential Insurance and Pru-Bache Securities. The company was to help clients with advanced planning needs. Early on I learned to have too much information was never a problem. Understanding a complete client profile was the best way to help clients achieve their goals. During my time here, I learned Estate and Business Planning Strategies. The experience of working with this unique client base became the foundation for my current understanding of advanced planning concepts.

The Bowers and Scott Agency was my next stop. Here I learned the finer points to Commercial Property, Liability, and Workers Compensation Insurance. My responsibilities included Employee Benefits, Group Health as well as Group Dental, Vision, and Disability Insurance. Perhaps the most important lesson learned was the value of client relationships within your business. The Bowers family lead by example in the way they welcomed me into their organization and business family. The sale of their agency in 2012 began my latest career evolution.

On July 1, 2012, Collective Financial Partners, LLC was started. The combination of all the fine people I was lucky to meet and work with over the years helped form my company’s foundation. One built on the need to never stop learning, to think outside the box, and most importantly, respect for the people you have the pleasure to help along the way.

I am a lifelong resident of The Town of Star City and a graduate of Morgantown High. My activities enjoyed are those you can do in the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, mountain biking, and a bit of Mountaineer sports.
